Here are some of the questions and answers you may find helpful:
Wedding Planning and Consulting
Wedding consultants are your primary advocate when working with professionals who provide various services for your event. Serving as consultants, we can manage a team of vendors or act as your wedding planner. In this capacity, we arrange and direct services that may include procuring your event location, catering, photography, music, videography and more.
A consultant’s role is to advise the bride and may or may not be involved in planning and implementing actual services. A wedding planner is a consultant who assists in the planning and procurement of vendors for your event.
As consultants and planners, we serve as your guide throughout your planning process for subjects that may include time lines, etiquette, invitations and lots more. We will become your most valued source of information ranging from marriage licenses, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding themes, locations, personalized ceremonies, honeymoon suggestions and Florida destination wedding packages.
Besides saving brides time and stress, my years of experience as a Florida wedding consultant and planner will provide you with access to the best quality wedding professionals at the best prices. By consistently working with a team of exceptional vendors and staff at reduced rates, I save couples money by passing along pre-negotiated discount pricing.
Absolutely. Your event can be as small as the two of you and me as your officiant on the beach. We can make your event more romantic and memorable with such enhancements as arriving in a limousine, a violinist to serenade you and/or a heart shaped garland or isle of fresh flowers surrounding you during your special ceremony. We can even include a champagne toast or candlelit dinner for two.
In my experience, Florida beach weddings are clearly the most popular theme. From simply elegant to platinum weddings, some additional choices are Scottish, Italian, Jewish, country, garden, home, historic and Romeo and Juliet themes.
We recommend buffet style, English teas, cocktail receptions and plated dinners and luncheons. Obviously your budget will determine your style and food selections. English teas and cocktail receptions with finger foods are always the least costly. Beverages might include a punch station, butler service beer and wine, a hosted bar and non-alcoholic beverage stations.
A candy station offers a unique, decorative and festive alternative to wedding favors. Through this station, your guests can select their favorite candies from a variety of dishes and containers, beautifully decorated in colors that match your wedding theme.
Your candy station can totally replace wedding favors, or serve as an additional and fun attraction at your reception.
Yes – there are almost an endless number of choices for brides and grooms when it comes to Florida wedding packages. Packages can save money and provide you with a more inclusive romantic experience.
Besides the popular standard choices on this website, we often customize packages for meeting each couple’s special needs. Packages may combine officiant services, a personalized ceremony, flowers, photography, videography, wedding cake, music and even honeymoon and travel in one affordable price.
Florida Wedding Ceremonies
Your personalized wedding ceremony can include your own vows, additional readings, poems and/or scriptures that have special meaning for you. It may also include a personal story about you as a couple.
Our beautiful sand ceremony and/or the addition of dove or butterfly releases are some of the ways that we help you to create a personalized and meaningful ceremony.
Traditions from both religions are incorporated in the wedding ceremony to meet the needs of the bride, groom and their respective families and friends. A spiritual service that is inspirational and heartfelt can be part of the non-denominational ceremony that I officiate.
Florida Destination Weddings
The best times for your Florida destination wedding depends on your preferences for weather, seasons and your budget. Obviously the late fall and winter months are prime seasons for people from Northern climates to flock to Florida and escape the snow and ice. May and November are particularly popular months for weddings – something to consider when making your plans.
If your goal is to save money and still have a memorable, romantic experience, you can take advantage of some significant savings on accommodations during Spring, Fall and Summer months. With less people around, this also provides you with more privacy and possibly some better service from local merchants. May 1st through December 15th are considered off-season for popular Florida coastal destinations. You can expect to save approximately half of your hotel accommodation rates during this time. In August and September, the warmest times of the year, we schedule your event later in the day when rain is less likely and temperatures are more comfortable. Regardless of the time of year, Florida makes a wonderful place for your destination dream wedding in paradise.
Popular sites that I book for wedding and reception locations include Botanical Gardens, historic landmarks, private beach homes, beach resorts, country clubs, inns and cottages, yachts and sailing vessels.
Based on the number of your out-of-town guests, we reserve a room block with special pricing that may include a variety of room selections. We can arrange such things as a hospitality suite, family brunch, dinner reservations, and can provide information about local attractions and discount rental cars.
Destination weddings involve planning a wedding a distance away from your home. This can be a small intimate gathering or an event for hundreds of family and friends. Florida beaches are popular destination wedding locations, particularly Sanibel, Captiva, Naples, Fort Myers, Marco, Melborne, Coco Beach, Indian Atlantic and Merritt Island.

Thank you so much for everything. You did an amazing job and we coudn’t be happier. I had requested that we get a copy of the ceremony for our scrapbook as we would like to include in our wedding album. Do you think we could still get them now that the ceremony is complete?
